Witness the Journey
Book an ExperienceLiterally meaning ‘Palace of Clouds’, Badal Mahal stands beside the Talkatora Lake at the northern edge of Jai Niwas Garden within the historic City Palace, Jaipur.
The structure traces its origins to the founding of the city in 1727. Its interiors are defined by soft blue and white tones that evoke clouds and sky, giving the palace its distinctive character.
Once used as a hunting pavilion and a ceremonial court during festivals such as Gangaur and Teej, Badal Mahal today serves as the headquarters of the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation. Within these historic walls, heritage meets purpose as the space now supports programs dedicated to empowering women and strengthening communities.
