Our Projects
Project Pragati
Project Pragati is a livelihood initiative focused on building economic independence for women from underserved communities. Through skill development, entrepreneurship guidance, and market access, the programme helps women turn traditional craft skills into sustainable sources of income. Today, around 200 women earn a regular livelihood through the initiative, working across centres in Badal Mahal, Murlipura, Nindar, Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, and Aidana. The project has also collaborated with Suman Ratan Rao, Miss World Asia 2019, to establish additional training centres in Rajsamand under her Beauty With A Purpose initiative.

Skill Development & Hands-On Training
Project Pragati focuses on practical, demand-driven skills such as stitching, textile work, handicrafts, product finishing, and other craft-based techniques. These training programmes ensure that women gain employable skills that can translate directly into livelihood opportunities.

Entrepreneurship & Production
Participants learn the essentials of pricing, costing, packaging, product development, and small business management. Women who complete training are then integrated into PDKF's production units or artisan clusters, enabling them to work collectively or start home-based enterprises while ensuring a reliable source of income.

Market Linkages & Exhibitions
Project Pragati supports women in accessing markets by showcasing their products at exhibitions, corporate events, and fairs. These platforms provide real earning opportunities while helping artisans understand customer preferences and improve product quality.

Financial & Social Empowerment
By creating independent earning pathways, Project Pragati strengthens women's confidence, agency, and standing within their families and communities — helping them shape a more secure future.
