PDKF’s Artisan Collective
PDKF’s Artisan Collective brings together women craft practitioners from across India, showcasing the diversity, skill, and creativity that define India’s craft heritage. Through exhibitions, workshops, cultural performances, and collaborative installations, the Collective creates meaningful opportunities for these women to share their work, connect with wider audiences, and grow sustainable livelihoods. Each edition of the Collective is a celebration of craft as both heritage and enterprise, highlighting the knowledge, ingenuity, and leadership of the women behind every handmade object.
Artisan Gallery
Across India, craft traditions are sustained by generations of women, with each community carrying forward its own techniques, materials, and visual language. The Collective brings these diverse practices together on a shared platform, allowing distinct traditions to be seen side by side.

Each edition of the Collective creates measurable impact — from empowering artisans to bringing traditional crafts into contemporary spaces. In 2026, we saw:

Edition 1

Edition 2

The Collective grows from the work we do through the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation — supporting women, nurturing their skills, and creating opportunities for their craft to be seen and valued. Seeing the first two editions come to life, bringing together women from across the country and so many diverse traditions, has been incredibly special. It is only the beginning, and I hope the Collective continues to grow from here.
