Deepika Ji grew up in Delhi in a home where opportunities were limited. She never had the chance to go to school, and from an early age, life was shaped by circumstances beyond her control. At 18, she was married and moved to Jaipur, stepping into a new environment with its own challenges. Her husband's health meant he could not work, and much of the responsibility of supporting the family fell on her.
Life in a joint family and workspaces largely led by men brought its own difficulties. But Deepika Ji did not let these define her. She held on to the belief that she could learn, grow, and change her situation. Joining PDKF became that turning point. She began learning handwork from scratch, picking up skills with focus and determination. Over time, she became one of the most skilled members of the team, known for the quality and consistency of her work.

Today, Deepika Ji is financially independent and contributes actively to her family. More than that, she carries herself with a confidence that comes from knowing she has built something on her own.
